The Trail of Test Drives

Over the years, PDI has compiled an extensive library of several hundred test driving routes in many European countries, all of them GPS documented. The “Test Run Control” protocol records meticulosly the time, the route and distance, topographic conditions, driving dynamics—lateral and longitudinal accelerations and decelerations—as well as weather conditions, of each and every test drive. The final test report is a valuable summary of our findings, including the car’s actual driving performance as well as subjectively and objectively described functions and malfunctions, an assessment of the quality of service and a detailed diagnosis and report of any shortcomings.
